CD Almuñecar City are delighted to announce the signing of Boubacar Diallo from Tercera División side CD San Roque de Lepe
The promising Belgian 21-year-old started his professional career with Queens Park Rangers Academy before moving onto MLS side Portland Timbers. Boubacar joined Tercera División side CD San Roque de Lepe in March 2019; missing the transfer deadline meaning he couldn't compete in games. However, Boubacar impressed the coaches during his short spell training with the club.
Victor Barbado, Director of Football at CDAC, expressed his delight of capturing the Belgian from his former club: "Boubacar is young player with huge talent who we wish could've signed to help us last season at CD San Roque de Lepe.
He possesses the qualities of a Tercera División player and has the potential to play at an even higher level.
There are very few Tercera División clubs who can compete with the methods and infrastructure of CD Almuñecar City, and we think that Boubacar will thrive in a full-time professional environment.
Welcome To The Club, Boubacar! 🇧🇪
